Vohra for restoration of JK’s pristine glory

Jammu, Jan 28: The Governor, N N Vohra, today emphasized the need for restoration of the pristine glory of J&K as an abode of peace, amity, communal harmony and brotherhood and urged the people to come forward in achieving this goal.
 Addressing the 35th Peace Conference here, Vohra who was the chief guest, said Kashmir had remained home to diverse religious and cultural influences which deeply enriched its pluralistic ethos.
 He said no development and progress was possible without sustained peace and communal harmony and brotherhood.
 Agriculture Minister, Ghulam Hassan Mir said “violence has no place in any civilized society and reconciliation is the best means to resolve any issue peacefully.”
