Safer side
This refers to Junaid Mattu’s response to Mridu Rai’s article. Educational, economic and social improvement demands stability which oppression never ensures. You may pen down your idealism but those killed, languishing in jails and tortured know well what it means to be free. I'm not surprised over Mr. Bhat's arrest because in a land where people are imprisoned for giving vent to their feelings, it is but natural that many want to side with the oppressors to be on the safer side.
