Srinagar, Jan 30: Fayaz Ahmed—younger brother of Inspector General of Police (Security) Farooq Ahmed—passed away at his residence in Karfali Mohalla here on Saturday night.
Scores of people participated in the funeral prayers of Fayaz, who was working as Sub-Inspector in Traffic Police Department. He was laid to rest at his ancestral graveyard at Ziyarat Syed Mansoor Sahib Zaldagar.
His Rasm-e-Qul would be held at the graveyard on February 1 (Tuesday) at 10:30 am.
