This refers to the article titled "Because he is my khanemoul" by Dr Saiqa Shah (GK 02-01-2011). I am not reflecting on its content but on the Kashmiri phrases and words used in it. We need to maintain the essence of a language. Here the English language has been Kashmirised. Incorporating words and phrases like 'kahnemouj' or 'khanmoul' from our native dialect and that too without translation does not give much pleasure to the readers
