Traffic `weak'

This refers to observance of Traffic Week by the Traffic Department. It is just an eyewash, given the fact that the traffic scenario is deteriorating in the state with each passing day. Every day people lose lives in road accidents. The Traffic Department has miserably failed to regulate traffic on roads. If at all they are successful anywhere, it is the time when they clear a road for any minister. This time six to seven people are seen regulating traffic at one beat. Still there is traffic mess. Observing traffic week is not the answer. There has to be a full-fledged traffic policy to address all the issues facing the people. We need more roads, more flyovers and more modern means to tackle traffic rush.
