Tricolor our guiding star: Tara Chand
Srinagar, Jan 7: The Deputy Chief Minister, Tara Chand, on Friday complimented Border Security Force for the “patriotic role and contribution” in guarding the integrity of the country.
“Under the able and magnanimous stewardship of Mahatma Gandhi, our country fluttered the banner of our tricolor 53- years ago and the same is proudly engraved in our hearts and guarding our border and the same tricolor has been our guiding star and shall remain so till eternity”, Tara Chand said at a passing out parade at Humhama, STC BSF Camp here.
He said all the development achieved throughout country as well as Jammu and Kashmir was a result of contribution of our great leaders who have made head high of our tricolor. He said the present coalition government was committed for overall development and usher the state in an era of prosperity and affluence. “It is our moral duty to work for the welfare of our people and guide them towards the right path,” he added.
