‘Stop misuse of electricity
Srinagar, Jan 8: The Central Non-Gazetted Electrical Employees Union has appealed the people of the Valley to desist from misusing power.
In a statement, a spokesman of the Union said during winter the power generation witnesses a drastic decrease. “However, if the consumers desist from misusing the power, it will help in reducing the curtailment schedule. We also urge the consumers to pay their fees on time. At the same time we appeal the Government to take measures for safety of the e PDD employees who are working round-the-clock to ensure power supply to prevent mishaps like in Gulshan Nagar and Chanapora,” it added.
