GOC visits Amarnath cave

Srinagar, June 30: The General Officer Commanding(GOC) of Srinagar based Chinar Corps Lieutenant General S A Hasnain on Thursday visited the Amarnath cave shrine in south Kashmir and offered prayers for everlasting peace, stability and prosperity in Jammu and Kashmir, the defence spokesman said.
 He said General Hasnain was accompanied by Major General Gurdeep Singh. “Both the officers reviewed the security arrangements and interacted with the people.  They prayed for peace and prosperity of the state,” the spokesman said.
