Army holds medical camp
SHEIKH NAZIR
Ganderbal, July 10: Army’s 24 Rashtriya Rifles battalion in association with Trauma Hospital Kangan organised a medical camp at Hariganiwan Kangan.
A team of 13 doctors from army and civil administration, including various specialists like pediatrician, gynecologists and dentists examined the patients.
As many as 985 persons including 402 males, 360 women and 223 children were treated and medicines were also distributed among them. According to the organizers, 25 persons were also screened for Tuberculosis.
The camp was inaugurated by Commander 3 Sector RR, Brig AK Sharma,.
Meanwhile, a blood donation camp was also organised in which 12 civilians and 32 army men donated blood.
