Not normalcy

This refers to the news on international flights. I don’t think it is proper to link the issue with normalcy in Kashmir. When the Dubai-Srinagar flight was started in 2009, the situation in Kashmir was not as better as it is today. So linking the issue with normalcy is nothing but a dallying tactic by the Central Government. It is high time to restore the international flights for hi-end tourism to J&K. It is however encouraging to see steps being taken for night landing at the Srinagar Airport. This would give a considerable fillip to tourism sector in the Valley which has just started picking up.
