IGNOU Regional Director accorded farewell
Srinagar, July 11: Dr Mirza Nehal Ahmad Baig Regional Director Srinagar, who made the Regional Centre make a “record number of enrolments” in the past two years was accorded farewell following his transfer to Bihar.
A doctorate in Arabic, the 35 year old Regional Director was being seen as a key person in the promotion of IGNOU courses in the Valley. As per observers as against the “national low of 15 % in enrolments in the IGNOU, the Srinagar Regional Centre witnessed 24 % growth in the admissions last year.”
The IGNOU staff accorded a tearful farewell to the outgoing Regional Director.
