Replace old poles before metering: Buchpora residents tell PDD
GK NEWS NETWORK
Srinagar, July 13: The residents of Buchpora Soura Wednesday said they will not allow installation of electric meters until decayed electric poles were removed from the area.
“They (PDD) should first replace electric poles then we will allow them to install meters,” a group of residents told Greater Kashmir.
For past few days residents have been holding demonstrations demanding replacement of old electric poles and transmission lines.
“The decayed poles and haphazard wires are posing threat to local population,” the locals said.
