College students visit Drug De-addiction centre

Srinagar, July 14: Around 150 students of the department of Psychology, Government Degree College Sopore Thursday visited the Drug De-addiction Center and Stress Management Center at Police Control Room, Srinagar.
 A police handout said that Dy SP Manoj Pandita, the centre incharge gave introduction to the students about the working of the institution. He also gave statistical details of the “extent of ramification of the menace of drug addiction in our society”.Dr Muzaffar, Incharge Drug De- addiction Center PCR “sensitized the students regarding the drug abuse and the steps taken by the center to treat the affected people.”  
 The students were accompanied by the HOD Psychology Dr Shamim Ahmad, Professor Bashir Ahmad, Lecturers Hilal Ahmad and Javed Ahmad Shah from the department of Psychology Government Degree College, Sopore.
