Not resolution

This refers to Muzaffar Hussain Baig’s statement that elections cannot lead to Kashmir resolution. I completely agree with the PDP leader that the recently held Panchayat elections in the state cannot be associated with the resolution of the Kashmir issue, as has been done by some interlocutors and the UPA president, Sonia Gandhi. Assembly or Panchayat elections cannot lead to the resolution of the Kashmir issue because elections are held for governance issues in various states of India. Baig has clearly underlined that unfortunately development has been associated with the politics.
