KU, WIPRO to recruit fresh graduates
Srinagar, July 16: After successful completion of the first placement drive last fortnight, the IT&SS University of Kashmir is now organizing a second placement drive for WIPRO’s WISTA programme next week .
Under this program, selected candidates will get MS degree from VIT, Vellore and a confirmed job offer besides monthly stipends during the training period.
Giving details Director information technology and support systems Kashmir University Dr Mehraj-ud-din said that Essential Qualifications for Eligible Students is graduation with 50 per cent marks and above in 10th and 12th with Math as one of the subjects in 12th class and 60 per cent and above marks in aggregate in graduation .
He said that a full time Graduate with BSc, Computer Science, IT, Electronics, Physics, Mathematics, Statistics, BCA, and BCM streams only can apply. “Students belonging to 2010 and 2011 batches only are eligible,” he said . Selected students will pursue four years MS degree from BITS Pilani while working at WIPRO and they will also receive a monthly scholarship in addition to other benefits.
