Naqeeb welcomes CM’s statement
Srinagar, July 16: Pradesh Youth Congress Committee leader and social activist Irfan Ahmad Naqeeb on Saturday welcomed the Chief Minister Omar Abdullah’s statement that Srinagar is the face of whole state and his candid admission that injustices had been done to it (Srinagar) in the past.
“If the former rulers have disappointed the Srinagar City dwellers in respect of development, but what remarkable work has been done by the sitting eight NC MLA of Srinagar,” said Naqeeb, adding that “We need to take lessons from the past and work in unison to make people at the helm of affairs accountable. We also need to do complete justice to the face of state—Srinagar City—to restore its pristine glory by starting developmental works in its all localities.”
