JK Bank organises credit awareness camp

Srinagar, July 17: Under its financial literacy mission, J& K Bank organized a credit awareness camp at Arizal (Budgam) yesterday.
A large number of people from different walks of life attended the camp to get information about various schemes tailored by the bank for different sectors of economy, an official statement said.
Bank’s Zonal Head Kashmir (Central) Abdul Hamid Banday, Cluster Head Budgam Wakar-ul-Mulik Naziki and SDM Budgam Nasir Ahmad Wani were present on the occasion.
Zonal Head, Abdul Hamid Banday while speaking on the occasion gave a detailed account of the Bank’s tailor-made schemes suitable for their economic uplift.
He urged upon the people to take full advantage of these schemes. “The Bank has always remained at the forefront to shape economic fortunes of people by devising customized loan schemes like Agri-term Loan, Apple Scheme etc. We have special schemes for people dealing in floriculture, trade and transport sectors.”
He also informed the gathering about education loan and housing loan schemes.
Meanwhile, around one hundred LPG gas connections were delivered to people in collaboration with HPCL ,under Bank’s unique credit scheme “Aan Poshi Teli Yeli Wan Poshi “specially devised to save environment. People of the area widely hailed concern of the Bank for their welfare.
