KAS, IAS aspirants appeal KU

Srinagar, July 17: The aspiring candidates for KAS and IAS examination have appealed to the Kashmir University Career and Counseling cell to include Anthropology as a subject in their coaching module for mains examination.  “We can’t afford to get coaching in private institutes in Kashmir and outside as it costs us huge amount of money. The coaching that University provides, is our only hope”, said the candidates.  According to them the department requires 15 students to conduct classes in the said subject. “The University authorities told us that they required 15 students to hire the faculty, which is mostly from Delhi,” they said.  “We appeal the authorities to consider our request in view of high fee charged outside the university.”
