SRTC-XI outplays Arafat Sports
Srinagar, July 18: In the ongoing Rahim Greens Super-League Football Tournament SRTC-XI won the match defeating Arafat Sports 3-0 at Polo ground here on Sunday.
In the match SRTC-XI completely outplayed Arafat side, defeating it by 3-0. Mohsin, Rayees and Shabir were the scorers for SRTC.
The second match of the day turned out as a controversial affair between ISAT-A and Kashmir Mughals. The match was forced to be abandoned after trouble erupted between the two sides on a ‘controversial’ goal.
Meanwhile on Saturday two matches were played. In the first match, JK Police outplayed Jehnagir Sports by 4-0. Kuldeep scored all four goals for Police side. In the second match Iqbal Sports stunned Safallo-A by 2-0. Shabir and Ghulam Muhammad were the scorers for them.
Meanwhile in the A-Division football league two matches each were played on Saturday and Sunday at Bakshi Stadium here.
On Saturday, Young Lal Chowk-XI was held to 0-0 draw by Jehlum Sports in the first match while Majid Sports defeated YMC Biscoe by 2-1 in second match.
On Sunday, Novelty Blue defeated Blossom Sports by 3-1 in the first match while Court Road-XI outplayed Syed Tajuddin by 4-0 in second match.
The event is being organised by J&K Football Association and sponsored by Rahim Greens.
