Valley will become first choice for Bollywood: Guv

Srinagar, July 18: The Governor N N Vohra on Monday exuded hope about Kashmir Valley once again becoming first choice for the Bollywood.
“In the coming time, very soon, the Valley will be back in full bloom and Kashmir will be, once again, the first choice for shooting of films, as it used to be,” Vohra said while addressing a special programme “GAASH”, campaign against drug addiction, organized as part of the ongoing 4-day Children’s Film Festival“Lukchaar” at SKICC here.
Vohra, and First Lady Usha Vohra were Chief Guests on the occasion.
The Governor, on the occasion, presented Awards to young entrepreneurs who support initiatives for generating awareness against drug addiction.
Referring to the need for launching sustained campaigns against drug addiction, the First Lady observed that life is for living. She said that the youth of the State are highly talented and have a bright future ahead. “By dint of determination and hard work they can achieve excellence in their chosen fields of activity,” she added.
A captivating cultural programme was presented by the young artists on this occasion which was highly appreciated by the large audience comprising mostly the youth.
