Beware students
This refers to various advertisements appearing during these days in print as well as in electronic media regarding the admissions in various professional courses in various institutes across India. Most of these institutes offering admission are the private ones which rely more on PR than on academic standards. I want both students and parents to verify the antecedents like recognition from UGC/AICTE, infrastructure, faculty etc of the institutes in which student is intending to secure admission.
Immediately after the outbreak of militancy, students in large number flocked to various educational institutes across the length and breadth of the India. Some were fortunate enough to land up at the best institutes and some were very unfortunate who landed in fake institutes running courses in BUMS, BSc (ag), MBBS, Engineering, MBA, BBA etc. They were lured by the false promises made by these institutes directly or indirectly through their agents in valley, consequently ruining their life. I know many students personally who lost precious time as well as their parents hard earned money. I request all the students to be very careful while choosing the right institutes for their courses of interest because any wrong decision at this juncture is going to cost you dearer in future. I wish best of luck to all of you.
