Fight corruption

This refers to the news “Tarigami goes Anna way.” I don’t think going Anna Hazara’s way would make any difference. There is institutional collapse in Jammu and Kashmir. The anti corruption bodies in the state are defunct. The state government is not reviving them. How can Tarigami expect end to corruption when there is no mechanism in place to curb the practice. There is a total chaos in the society vis-à-vis corruption. Many government departments have become a hub of corruption. No person is able to get his work done without paying Chai, Pani. This is shame on part of the government which is boasting of providing relief to the people. The Government must ensure revival of the State Accountability Commission and make sure that the corrupt officials are removed from the system. Mr Tarigami should also raise voice against the institutional breakdown in Jammu and Kashmir.
