JK Grameen Bank inaugurates new branch premises

Srinagar, July 20: J&K Grameen Bank inaugurated the new premises of its branch Sheeri, Baramulla on Tuesday.
DDC Baramulla B A Bhat inaugurated the premises and formally put the branch on core banking solutions.
Customers present on the occasion applauded the working of the bank and its staff, the bank in a statement said.
Meanwhile, the DDC also inaugurated an awareness camp on financial inclusions conducted by the Bank at Pehlipora Boniyar.
The camp was attended by all line officers of the District. General Manager J&K Grameen Bank, Muhammad Altaf Bhat welcomed the Chief Guest and the line officers. Bank’s officers from Jammu also attended the camp.
Meanwhile, the Bank today held another awareness camp on Financial Inclusions at Tragpora (Rafiabad). Bank’s General Manager presided over the function. Line officers and officials of NABARD spoke at the camp.
Notably, the bank at present has 56 branches on CBS Computer System catering to around 40 per cent of the total business of the Bank.
To mention, all functions were organized and hosted by Bank’s Area Manager Baramulla Abid Hussain Khan.
