EDB, Maruti sign MoU for vehicle financing

Srinagar, July 21: Ellaquai Dehati Bank (EDB) signed a pact with Maruti Suzuki India Limited at Jammu today where-under the Bank shall finance the latter’s vehicles.
Chairman EDB, A K Razdan and Regional Manager (North-II) Maruti Suzuki India Limited put their signatures on the agreement.
On the occasion Razdan said: “The tie-up arrangement would work under the brand ED Bank–MARUTI Finance.”
He said the ED Bank being a “reputed” Regional Rural Bank (RRB) is giving wide range of services and financial products to it customers.
He said the Bank with its huge network of branches spread across the length and breadth of J&K is giving finance for purchase of motor vehicles. Notably, 80 per cent of its branches are in rural areas.
All India Head of Maruti Suzuki India Finance Limited Vikas Kohli assured that they will provide full support to the Bank for the success of the tie up arrangements.
