IGP reviews functioning of Railway Police

Jammu, July 25: The Inspector General of Police (IGP) Railways, Farooq Ahmed, reviewed the security arrangements of Railway police Jammu, here on Monday.
The IGP chaired a meeting of the senior Railway Police officers to ascertain the functioning of the wing and reviewed the security arrangements in and around Jammu Railway Station.
The IGP also visited police station GRP Jammu and Railway Station Jammu to gain first hand knowledge of the working of Railway police.
The SSP Railways Jammu Raghubir Singh briefed the meeting about the over all working and functioning of the Railway police.
The IGP, as per an official spokesman, would be visiting other GRP police stations in the next two days to understand the problems faced by the officers and men.
