Inqillabi for demilitarization of Kashmir

Srinagar, July 25: The Jammu Kashmir Mahaz-e-Azadi chief patron, Azam Inqalabi on Monday called upon Pakistan to make demilitarization of Kashmir an inalienable part of the agenda of the forthcoming talks with India. 
 “If Pakistan doest not incorporate Kashmir’s demilitarization in the agenda of talks with India and extend its support forcefully and with full confidence to the Kashmiris’ stand for right of self-determination, the Mahaz-e-Azadi along with other pro-freedom leadership will be forced to press the demand that Pakistan should formally recognize its administered Kashmir (PaK) as independent area so that it (independent area) could take an initiative to engage India in a long war of nerves,” said Inqillabi, in a statement, adding that “Now the government of India is no longer tolerating the peaceful resistance in Kashmir. And it is because of this only that majority of resistance leaders and thousands of their supporters are lodged in different jails and interrogation centres while leaders like Mirwaiz Umar Farooq, Syed Ali Shah Geelani, Shabir Ahmad Shah and others are frequently placed under house arrest to prevent them from reaching the people.”
 Condemning the Kulgam tragedy, Inqillabi urged the people to make demilitarization of Kashmir their strong slogan.
