`78 cr annual plan for Kulgam

Kulgam, July 26: The current year’s District Plan for Kulgam district will be to the tune of Rs. 78.30 crore, which include Rs. 24.63 crore as revenue component and Rs. 53.66 crore as the capital component. The plan was approved at a district development board meeting held here with Minister for Forest and Environment, Mian Altaf Ahmed in a chair.
 Addressing the meeting, Mian Altaf stressed upon officers to work with more dedication and implement the various developmental and welfare schemes successfully. He asked them to remain accessible to public and solve their problems.
 The Minister said that the people have great expectations with the administration, adding that the officers must hear them on priority. He said coalition government headed by Omar Abdullah is committed to provide all basic amenities to the people besides overall development and prosperity of the state.
 The Minister asked the district administration and officers of CA&PD, PDD, PHE, Forest, Health and R&B for stock and supply and essential commodities Rice, Atta, Sugar, K.oil, LPG, providing drinking water, power supply, medicare and other facilities to the people during ensuring holy month of Ramadan.
