Probe what?

This refers to the news “KPs demand probe into Padgaonkar’s links with Fai.” (GK July 24). I don’t think it makes any sense to probe this issue. There are hundreds of people from different parts of the world who would have participated in conferences in America. Does it mean they all should be probed? It is sad that the two groups of KPs don’t trust even their own men when they sayd that “Is the final report prepared by the Padgaonkar carrying the agenda of Pakistan or Kashmir American Council (KAC)? It should be probed.” The interlocutors have already made it clear that they shall submit the final report which will carry all the ingredients of regional balances in Kashmir. So why play politics over the issue now? It is high time we rise above petty politics and start working toward establishing peace in Jammu and Kashmir and also urge India and Pakistan to resolve the dispute of Kashmir.
