200 traders fined in south City

Srinagar, July 28: The enforcement squad of Consumer Affairs and Public Distribution CAPD on Thursday conducted market inspection of various areas of south City while some 200 business establishments and a dozen erring shopkeepers were booked for violation of Essential Commodities Act. Four mutton shops were also sealed, the officials said.
 The CAPD spokesman said the areas inspected include Rambagh, Sanat Nagar, Hyderpora, Pirbagh Rawalpora, Rajbagh and Sonawar whereas a fine of Rs 4700 was also recovered on the spot.
