‘Revenue offices to be opened in every tehsil’

Jammu, July 3: To facilitate better land management in the state, Jammu and Kashmir government is planning to open revenue offices at sub-tehsil level so that people can trace their land and revenue records.
"Government is formulating a comprehensive plan for opening of 'Niabats' in every corner of the state so that people can trace revenue records by approaching the nearby revenue office," Minister for Revenue, Relief and Rehabilitation Raman Bhalla said while laying foundation stone of a revenue complex at Channi Rama in the Jammu city.
The minister laid foundation of the Rs 1.70 crore revenue complex with facilities of meeting hall, Tehsildar, Niab Tehsildar offices and Deputy Commissioner Secretariat.
