Mirwaiz meets fire victims

Srinagar, July 5: The Hurriyat Conference (M) chairman Mirwaiz Umar Farooq on Tuesday met the fire victims of Nowhatta and expressed sympathy and solidarity with them.
 Al least 17 residential houses were gutted in Nowhatta area of Shahr-e-Khaas on Saturday morning.
 Mirwaiz visited every affected family’s house and assessed the magnitude of damage. Interacting with the victims, Mirwaiz urged them to demonstrate patience and courage over the loss suffered by them in the devastating fire.
 He appealed to all the well-off people of area to extend wholehearted help in cash and kind to the fire-victims.
