PDP condemns arrest of doctors
Srinagar, July 8: The chief spokesperson of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) Naeem Akther has condemned the arrest of junior doctors who were distributing pamphlets which advised the students and teachers to desist from music and dance on the eve of golden jubilee celebrations in the Government Medical College.
“It is ridiculous that doctors were arrested for distributing the pamphlets. We condemn it,” Akther said.
Pertinently, three doctors were arrested from the GMC campus soon after Friday prayers.
