TATA BP Solar organizes 2-day training program

Srinagar, July 8: TATA BP Solar India Ltd, Bangalore, market leader in the Indian solar industry, organized a two-day training programme for solar technicians from Kashmir.
 The programme was part of its efforts to maintain high standards of service delivery for its customers in J&K, it said in a statement.
 Giving details it said the training was organised by M/s Green Technologies & Solutions Srinagar, which is channel partner of TATA BP Solar India Ltd, currently executing the installation and commissioning as well as providing after sales service for Solar Home Lights in unelectrified villages of J&K.
 The company is executing an order from the J&K Energy Development Agency (JAKEDA) for installation of more than 15000 solar home lights in the state.
 More than 50 technicians from 10 districts of the state including Kishtwar, Doda, Ramban, Kupwara, Barramulla, Shopian, Kulgam and Ganderbal participated in the programme.
 Extensive training was imparted to the technicians for the installation and commissioning and after sales service of Solar Home Lighting Systems.
 Pertinently, Tata BP Solar has large presence in the state and it has already installed over 12000 Solar Home Lights, 3500 Solar Street Lights and huge quantity of Solar Lanterns during last 3 years.
 The company also has Service Support Network across the entire state.
