No rotational CM: Cong
Srinagar, May 31: The member of Congress Working Committee and incharge of Congress in Jammu and Kashmir, Mohan Prakash, Friday hinted that Chief Minister Omar Abdullah would continue to hold the post till the present coalition government completes its full term.
“Whatever the agreement between the Congress and the National Conference is we stand by that,” Prakash told vernacular news agency KNS.
Asked whether that means Omar Abdullah would continue to be the Chief Minister, he said, “Don’t put words into my mouth. Whatever the agreement is we stand by that.”
On the proposed cabinet expansion and reshuffle in Jammu and Kashmir, Prakash said, “Coordination committee of the Congress and NC would decide over it. Prof Saif-ud-Din Soz would be in a better position to answer it.”
