DeM seeks Fahmeeda’s whereabouts

Srinagar, June 15: Dukhratan-e-Millat on Wednesday sought whereabouts of its senior activist, Sofi Fahmeeda, saying she has been shifted to some unknown destination from Jammu today.
A spokesman of the party said the Court last month had quashed Fahmeeda’s detention under PSA. “However, since June 6, she and our chairperson Syeda Aasiya Andrabi were lodged in a Police Station in Jammu. We have learnt that Fahmeeda has been shifted to some unknown destination today. We are concerned over her welfare and demand her whereabouts,” the statement said.
