Fotedar’s statement part of Cong manifesto: Hashim
Srinagar, June 15: The Democratic Liberation Party chairman Hashim Qureshi on Wednesday said the Congress leader M L Fotedar’s statement on state’s accession was written in Congress manifesto.
“But the NC senior leader Dr Mustafa Kamal’s statement that Late Sheikh Muhammad Abdullah had called the Congress leaders as gutter worms raise several questions. When Congress leaders are gutter worms why Dr Farooq Abdullah signed an Accord with Rajeev Gandhi? Why Dr Farooq is then a union minister in Congress led coalition government in New Delhi. Why the NC is sharing power with Congress in the state for past over two years,” said Hashim, warning both NC and Congress leaders to desist from trying to befool people who are politically too conscious to be beguiled.
