Secretary Internal Security calls on Governor
Srinagar, June 17: The Secretary, Internal Security, Government of India, U K Bansal, called on the Governor, N N Vohra, at Raj Bhavan here on Friday, an official spokesman said.
“During their over one hour meeting, the Governor and Bansal discussed various issues related to the obtaining security situation in the state and particularly focused on several aspects of security arrangements for the forthcoming Amarnath Yatra. Other important matters, which have a bearing on the internal security management, also came under discussion during the meeting,” he said.
The Joint Secretary (K), Union Ministry of Home Affairs, K Skandan, participated in the discussions.
