College hosts Punjabi Mushaira
Srinagar, June 18: Government Women’s College MA Road organized a Punjabi Mushaira at the college Saturday.
The event was attended by the eminent poets of Punjabi and the connoisseur’s literature, in which poems on different issues were recited.
Prof Tadzin Jolden, Principal of the college while addressing the function talked about the cultural diversity of the state.
The poetry recited by the budding student poet Kiran Pal Kour of BSc 2nd year of the college received applause from the audience.
