Anti-Tobacco seminar held

Srinagar, June 1: A seminar on harmful affects of drugs and smoking was organised at Degree College Baramulla here on Wednesday.
 On the occasion, SP Operations Baramulla, Zubair Ahmad Khan said that about 20-25 percent of the people in the State have a problem related to drug abuse. He urged upon the parents to keep a vigil on their wards to save them from the menace.
 Dr Mudasir Pandith, a clinical psychologist highlighted the steps taken by JK Police to counter drug abuse. He said that police is providing free treatment to the addicts at the Drug De-addiction Centre, Police Hospital Srinagar.
