Army develops playing field for GDC Beerwah

Srinagar, June 1: The Army’s 35 Rashtriya Rifles has developed the playing field of the Government Degree College (GDC) Beerwah.
The Principal of the college, Dr Muhammad Ashraf while interacting with the Army requested them to provide assistance for construction of a play ground at the college premises, a defence handout said.
Accordingly, 35 RR took on the responsibility and commenced work with assistance from BEACON to level an area of 90 x 70 Sqm. The efforts paid dividends and after a sustained effort, the ground was made ready. The Principal, Faculty Members and the students were appreciative of the efforts of the Army for the ground which is now being extensively utilised by the students, handout added.
