DGP reviews security arrangements for Amarnath Yatra
Jammu, June 1: Director General of Police Kuldeep Khoda on Wednesday emphasized upon maintaining establishment of joint control room for better and close coordination with other agencies to ensure smooth conduct of Amarnath yatra.
Khoda was presiding over the meeting convened by IGP Jammu Zone Dilbag Singh of senior Police officers, Paramilitary /Army and Intelligence agencies in Police Control Room Jammu today to review the smooth conduct of ensuing security arrangements of Yatra.
He advised the police officers to ensure humane approach while dealing with public and cautioned them to remain extra vigilant and stern while dealing with criminals and anti-social elements.
IGP Jammu Zone Dilbag Singh made a detailed presentation about all the arrangements made for smooth conduct of Yatra through out Jammu Zone upon which DGP J&K expressed his satisfaction.
