Dilapidated Palladium street irks shopkeepers
SYED IMRAN ALI HAMDANI
Srinagar, June 1: The shopkeepers near Palladium lane in the City center of Lal Chowk are up in arms against the authorities for the “dilapidated roads conditions.”
The traders said the bad roads have affected their business prospects.
Firdous Ahmad who runs an electronic goods shop said “Pedestrians have to face inconvenience in walking the road so they now avoid coming here.”
His colleague Tahir Ahmad who runs a shoe outlet said: “Dug up roads have not been repaired and no efforts made to address the problem.”
Similar were the views of Tanveer Ahmad Khan a dryfruit shop owner.
"The authorities have paid no heed to our problems,” the traders said.
They appealed the MLA Amira Kadal, Nasir Sogami to look into the matter.
