Sakina for expanding lending orbit

34th BoD meet of SC, ST, OBC Dev Corp held

Srinagar, June 1: Minister for Social Welfare, Sakina Itoo today directed for extending maximum benefits to deserving persons through various welfare schemes under implementation in the State. The Minister, who is also the Chairperson of J&K SC, ST and Backward Classes Development Corporation (SC/ST&BCDC) was addressing 34th meeting of Board of Directors here.
 “The Prime objective of the Corporation is to work for socio-economic uplift of the target groups and create self employment avenues so that they can become economically self reliant”, the Minister said.  Stressing on bringing improvement in lending and recovery management, Itoo directed the concerned officers to take all possible steps for streamlining the working further and expanding its lending orbit.
