Fauji mela organised
Srinagar, June 19: The Army organised a Fauji Mela at Khundru in Islamabad (Anantnag) on Sunday.
According to defence communiqué, the Mela was inaugurated by GOC Victor Force, Major General Gurdeep Singh.
“The Mela helped in bridging the gap between Army and local populace of South Kashmir. The event was a combination of display of Army weapons, equipment and cultural programme by the Army men and children from local Schools,” it said.
It said a medical inspection room was also established for the treatment of patients. Free medicines were also distributed to the patients, it added.
