Harud screened
MANZOOR-UL-HASSAN
Srinagar, June 20: Harud, a debut direction by Kashmir born Bollywood actor Aamir Bashir was Monday screened in the City.
The film, screened for the reserved audience including its cast and crew at a local hotel here, talks about the Kashmir family, which during militancy tries to come in terms with disappearance of their elder son, a tourist photographer.
“I have tried to present Kashmiri story through the eyes of my characters. I wanted to show rather than dictate in the story,” Aamir said.
The film is largely shot in Kashmir and its lead cast includes first-time Kashmiri actors along with renowned Iranian actor Reza Naji who has earlier worked in films like ‘Children of Heaven’, and ‘Song of Sparrows’.
