DeM concerned over Aasiya’s falling health

Srinagar, June 21: Dukhratan-e-Millat (DeM) on Tuesday expressed concern over the falling health of its detained chairperson Aasiya Andrabi and demanded her immediate release.
 A DeM spokesperson said Aasiya is suffering with various ailments including osteoarthritis, high blood pressure and uric acid levels. “Her detention under the PSA was quashed last month and since then she has been lodged in a police station in Jammu. We have learnt that she was shifted to JIC Humhama today. We demand her immediate release on health grounds,” the spokesman added.
