GMC gets latest CT scan

Srinagar: The department of Radio-diagnosis and imaging, Government Medical College here has procured state-of-art 128 slice CT scanner.
 According to a communiqué, department head, Dr. Sajjad Ahmad said the CT scanner was one of the most advanced machines in the world. “The scanner is capable of performing CT coronary angiography, cardiac CT, whole body angio including pulmonary angio, perfusion CT, advanced applications like virtual colonoscopy and bronchoscopy ect. Additional features of CT fluoroscopy are also available.”
