SBI Residency Road gets hi-tech kiosk machine

Srinagar, June 22: Chief General Manager of State Bank of India’s Chandigarh circle, SK Sehgal on Wednesday inaugurated a hi-tech Kiosk Alternate Channel Machine at the bank’s Residency Road branch in Srinagar.
 Speaking on the occasion the bank’s Regional Manager for Srinagar, apprised the people about the significance of the kiosk machine, which he said, will help the public for making on-the-spot transactions for internet banking online booking of railways tickets and card related transactions.
 Sehgal interacted with the gathering including the bank staff and apprised them of the “corporate salary package scheme for state government’s corporate offices.
 Dr Talib Khan, a bank client, expressed his gratitude to Sehgal for “such innovative and technology based banking initiative.”
 Many a client present at the occasion hailed RK Oswal, the Chief Manager of the Main Branch for being “customer friendly.”
 “He is always there to help the customers even if it means accompanying them to various counters,” they said.
