German ambassador meets CM
Srinagar: German Ambassador to India, Thomas Matussek today met the Chief Minister, Omar Abdullah here and discussed various matters including those related to socio-economic and political developments in the State.
The new initiatives taken by the Omar led government to give boost to skill development and enhance employability of youth received focused attention in the discussion, an official communiqué said.
Chief Minister apprised the German Ambassador about the steps afoot to restore State’s tourism glory and fillip to economic activities. He also apprised him of the measures put in place to achieve holistic and equitable development and permanent peace in the State.
