National Awardee Teachers urge CM to intervene

Srinagar: The All India National Awardee Teachers have urged upon Chief Minister Omar Abdullah to intervene and direct education ministry to approve incentives due to them.
 In a statement, the spokesman of AINAT, Muhammad Ashraf Khan said a delegation in this regard met chief minister during Awami Mulakat and apprised him about the role of National awardee teachers in teaching and learning process in the state.
 Khan said that the CM agreed upon their suggestion and said that he would ask the School education department to frame a policy in the state for providing incentives in favour of national awardee teachers. They told CM that they would submit a comprehensive draft report on education for quality performance of schools within one and a half month.
